Scott Andreas, Auctioneer & Owner
Scott grew up in Ankeny, IA, where his family once owned the local roller skating rink. An entertainer at heart, Scott spent many years traveling the Midwest as the lead singer for a variety of musical groups. His background includes stints in restaurant management & industrial sales.
Andreas & Associates Auctioneering & Appraisals was formed in 2004 after Scott graduated from World Wide College of Auctioneering in Mason City, IA. Scott spent several years assisting in the management of a 3,000 acre row crop operation in Northwest Iowa, returning to the Auction business full time in 2010.
In 2012, annual sales of personal property (excluding real estate) on behalf of our clients will exceed the one million dollar mark!
Scott holds an FFL for curio & relic firearms, and also offers expert opinions on militaria, coins, & collector vehicles as well as agricultural, industrial, & restaurant equipment.
He is a member of the National Auctioneers Association, the Elks Lodge, the Izaak Walton League, & the Garand Collectors Association.
John Krohn, Auction Coordinator & Militaria Consultant
John graduated from Ankeny High, and currently resides in Ankeny with his wife & two children.
He maintains an excellent knowledge of the fair market value of antiques & collectibles of all types, and is our resident expert on German & Japanese Militaria. In addition, he has an extensive background in construction material & equipment sales.
John assists us with cataloging, research, & sale set-up and (as our lead ringman) assists in coordinating the order of sale on Auction Day.

The accounting staff at Andreas & Associates is second to none; each member has extensive experience in inventory control, accounts payable/receivable, and customer service. This invaluable resource allows us to maintain an incredible rate of accuracy on behalf of both our clients & our auction attendees.
